WOW.

I wasn't away that long.

I come back expecting to see a little progress, and instead found a couple of other things, a leap and a bound.

And not just the program, but the authors, and the forums too.

I take it the wires can't be improved with a new texture? shame, that's about it's weakest point.

or has VP even been recompiled yet?

I would have paid like $85 for this some years back. And that's not knowing what it could do. Didn't have to though.

I don't know what I would honestly pay for VP, but for $700 it would be close between this and a loaded adobePhotoshop.

(I aint gona give nobody no $700, it's just if it was the only way to have it.)

What's the max resolution for textures? That's why things are looking so much better, idnit?

Unplayable on my new high end PC with ATI 5850 card. Sheesh you would think it would run nice and smooth but very slow and choppy on Win 7 x64 system. Older VP8 runs killer, but VP9 stinks guess I need an Nvidia card, but noway am I gonna buy a new card just to run VP9 oh well sad.gif

You need to check the 'HD Render box', resave the table, quit, and reload it. Or run the registry fix for it.

Yeah but then you can't see half the tables grafics or background images as it goes black. What else am I missing here?

Check the 'reorder' box, save, close, and reopen VP.

Willing to donate for DIY kit support, so I can actually use it. Having to run DXtweaks to kill the dead zones on the kit, and xpadder to assign the extra joysticks for mercury switches is causing major headaches.

Would pay even more for someone to make a stand alone digital Plunger, and just hook up an IPac for the rest.

H4CK3R

I'm serious about paying... Rather give my cash to the people that deserve it, and help make my cab feel complete, then spend hours tring to fix issues with a 1/2 assed product.

I think we're going to have to put up with a microswitch for the time being H4CK3R, until someone does something with it in open source VP, to change the way the plunger is used. Something analog maybe, was thinking of using a spinner from a Tron machine, mounted vertically and have a plunger run across the spinner, or something to that effect

If vp907 is working fine for you, keep that one - we're trying to get a slider control in for the dead zone for motion boards so it will be more user-friendly than a hard cap 10% like this has. I don't want to be sending out custom builds to individuals with their own preferred/demanded dead zone value and I'm sure you can understand that.
