In the VPX v10.8.0 physics simulation, can pinballs leave the table's playfield surface? And if so, do they hit the glass and deflect back down onto the table?

The reason I ask is because I saw a ball do an impossible thing on a new table I am evaluating. My first thought is that the table area is not built quite-right. But if even possible ... a ball flying over a ramp barrier could also have potentially caused it.

Just set the Hit Height for all your rubbers to 12 and you'll be hard-pressed keeping the ball on the deck :)  Unless you add one, there's no actual glass to hit but you can have a glass-hit sound fire at a certain height for the effect, or as a hit event for a glass wall.

Yes. A ball on a ramp leaves the playfield surface. Set the glass height to 50 and all the ramps will stop working. Nfozzy physics can launch air balls if a stand up target is hit hard enough
