Real-time online multiplayer has officially arrived in Visual Pinball X! Experience netplay action powered by my modified VPX (Launcher + Duo engine) and a modified, custom build of VPinMAME64.dll.

YES, this works the same in VR!

In this video, I demonstrate a live multiplayer match on Cactus Canyon followed by Medieval Madness (Williams 1997), featuring instant turn-swapping, live DMD and physics streaming, and state synchronizations running across network sockets.

Key Technical Highlights:
Runs a modified build of VPinMAME64.dll with custom API extensions for time-fencing, event-precise switch capturing, and instant state serializing.
Launcher build of VPX 10.8.0: Seamless Turn Swaps: Automatic authority handoffs triggered at canonical ball-end windows directly via NVRAM tracking.
Sub-Frame Spectating: Live streaming of flipper motion, playfield switches, lamps, and DMD graphics to the client with sub-frame accuracy.
Full Parity & State Rollback: State synchronization keeps both players in 100% emulation alignment without desyncing the table script.
