Hello to everyone!

Im from UK and I grew up with pinball machines, I really love them all.

But it is so difficult to understand how to install correctly the Visual Pinball and the tables and all these files, that it makes my head hurt! And my heart!

I can't understand the tutorials since my english is not that fluent so I stuck and can't make it work. Please, is there any willing soul here that can help me play my beloved pinballs from my youth?

download de roms stern roms via hun site alleen even renamen in het script van de tafel staat hoe ze moeten heten

andere roms zoeken op internet of via newssite's roms in de rom directory plaatsen en in het mapje vpinmame roms.

At first, if you installed something and is not working properly, uninstall everything about your instalattion.

Go to Github and download "Main.download.installer.-.VPX8.setup.exe"

In my opinion is the reliable realase at moment

 

It is basic to start

VPX is not a APP. It is a emulator PROGRAMM that works with others programs as:

VpinMame, Backglass server, FlexDMD and if you want, DMDextensions and PupPack videos

The setup will install a basic programms. Maybe you need to update some off them and in the Github site you will find the last version.

 

Run VipinMame64.exe to install with the basic path setup

Run Backglass server to install it and the register it

Run Flex DMD setup to set their properties

 

Basically

Put the tables files in Tables folder

Put the ROM files when used in ROM folder

 

Maybe the installation will install the DX and GL version.

Most people play in DX version in Desktot mode in Laptop or PC without Backglass but the system needs the backglassserver running

Others people like me, play in Cabinet mode with 3 screens to be close a real machine.

It needs more power hardware.

 

Don´t gave up and will understand
