Let me preface this by saying I am not a programmer. I'm a guy who loves pinball and I make videos for my day job. I've been around computers my whole life, and I'm pretty comfortable with Claude code...which is how I managed to get to this point.

Anyway, as you can see I have managed to get a working "Spectator View" or second camera view for VPX. I know a lot of us have been wanting this feature so we don't make our viewers sick to their stomach.

I'm shocked how well its working so far. At this point I have a positionable "second camera" view that remains stationary while the VR view is also still visible.

Now, the only caveat here is compute power. I haven't dug too deep yet, but I think this is using about 60% more GPU power than vanilla vpx...But only when the second view is toggled on.

More to come!

Any 3D experience will be popular when some day somebody find how to share the real 3D experience.

Thank you basbi and anthonyfilmsstuff for your works on it.

my multiplayer work at vpx is at a point where you can save your gameplay to a recording.
another player somewhere else can watch this recording in vr
