I have some FX3 Zen tables installed on my cabinet alongside the PinballX and Future Pinball tables.  I have them integrated into my Pinball Y Frontend just fine, with media.  My problem has been and still is:  I can't EXIT a game.  I can play the games just fine, but I have to finish a game and drag out my keyboard to get back to my frontend using Alt TAB.  Any help would be appreciated.  I have a EXIT button on my cab that I use to terminate any Pinball X game and would like to somehow map that for the FX3 games.

After the game is over ...

I bring-up the Pinball-Y (Front-End) Pause-Menu and Terminate-Game from there.

That takes you back to Pinball-Y's table-browsing wheel for selection of another (or Shut-Down/Power-Off).

Can this all be accomplished without the keyboard? No way to terminate the game while in progress with only cabinet buttons?

Yes.

After I finish playing a VPX-table (that had been launched from Pinball-Y) ... my cabinet's Back-Button brings up the Pinball-Y Pause-Menu.

I just use the flipper-buttons to select Terminate-Game.

I must need to edit the configuration for my back button then. Can you please list your configuration script that enables this? You said VPX did you mean FX3? My back button works just fine for my VPX games. This is about exiting a FX3 game.

Sorry, no ... I did not realize we were talking about FX3.

In your first message, you said Pinball-X (which I decoded as VPX and then started trying to help).

Seems like you would just use the FX3 "exit the game" option. I'm trying to imagine the "work flow" but I think others that actually have it setup and working could do better.

It might be similar or different in FX3, but since I don't launch-or-play Steam's FX3 from Pinball-Y, I'm not in a position to help with that.
