Hi,

I built a  cabinet with 3 screens and recently tried VR and was blown away by how amazing it is. I'm able to use my cabinet controls and audio and it's just mind blowingly amazing to me.

My question is when you have a cabinet setup how do you go into and out of VR ?

My cabinet uses Pinup Popper and boots into that interface. To use VR currently I back out to the desktop and use my keyboard and mouse for setup. While I'm in VR the OLED playfield has just static images on it which can't be the best solution. And I don't know anything about a VR launcer of any type. I just open the GL64 version and pick a table and put on the headset.

There are a few options, and I agree, I have the same setup and use my cab (with Popper) as the controller with SSF for VR and it can't get any more realistic than that. I test VR tables more than I play so I have prevented Popper from launching automatically and usually just launch a VR table with the VPinballX_GL64.exe. When I play for fun though I use BaSti's VPX Launcher, not the one posted above by Emanoel299 as it is discontinued, but to the right of it on the download page is his updated version. I also use .bat files to change my settings between VR and Pancake.
Another option you could try is to use Popper's "Alternate Launcher" method. This way you could continue to let Popper continue auto launch on boot up and choose a VR table that you have changed in the Game Manager/Alternate Launcher to launch with the VPinballX_GL64.exe that has your VR settings.

Hi studlygoorite

I know is discontinued but the download I did in the same page.

I think there is no a direct page to the last version.

Thanks so much for the help everyone. I can get very overwhelmed and I feel that is appropriate given all the things that go into a pinball cabinet.

I kind of love configuring and there's so much to work with. I blasted though creation of my cabinet to have it ready for when my kids were home for X=mass and that worked out now I can go back and tune up everything.

With 3 displays, 7 speakers, a PC and interface board it's a tuner/tweaker paradise just have to get to it when the mood hits.
