I found this new program that lets you easily switch between different monitor profiles and configs.

Display Profile Manager

I recently installed VPX (and PinballY, and some test-Tables) on my Windows-11 desktop (Intel-i9 daily driver with 2 fairly nice monitors) so I could write some PinballY Javascript Addons, without sitting at my pinball-cabinet in the arcade room.

I had this other similar program that I've used for years, but I recently discovered that it didn't support Windows Scaling. While 100%-Scaling is best for VPX (like on the cabinet) I usually run my 32in-4K monitor at 125%. This one supports the Windows-Scaling setting (for all the attached monitors) and much more. I installed it the other day and seems to be working fine, so I thought I would pass-on the info to yall.

Whether you are a virtual-pinball developer or just a user trying to occasionally run VPX on your desktop ... you might find this little open-source program useful.

I've never seen that issue on any of my systems. Sounds like possibly an issue with an interfering 3rd party app (like maybe a video-driver-suite).

Anyway, hopefully this little program will help to combat it.

On Windows-11 Pro (64 bit) with an Intel-i9/Nvidia_RTX-4080
- I used the installer-file DisplayProfileManager-v1.3.0-x64-Setup.exe

After install, looks like the best Settings are:
- Start with Windows, Minimized in System-Tray
- Use Staged applying of profiles (if you have 2 or more monitors)

Do NOT select "Apply Startup Profile at Launch"
- Just let Windows load-up normally

Seems to work real nice.
