hi everybody!

First of all let me introduce myself. I am a young boy of the 70's, with a big passion for Retrogames and flipper.

Recently I have discovered this wonderful world and I am trying to learn as much as possible.

I am preparing a Bartop with a lot of retros, including Virtual pinball. The core is a Probook i5 8GB RAMS which works fine with Batocera.

But I have a problem with Virtual Pinball.

The tables ask for GSLS 4.30 driver, but the built in video board runs 4.20 version , without the possibility to update.

So the tables do not work....

So, my question is: is it possible to "downgrade" a table forcing the usage older version of GSLS? Otherwise, how is it possible to download tables compatible with my old driver?

Thank you in advance for your kind support.

It's probably not the table, but the VPX version that asks for the driver. But the table will demand a certain VPX version.

Loading a 10.8 table in 10.6 and saving it as 10.6 is theoretically possible, but may lead to errors more often than not.

If you really want older versions of tables: Sometimes there are old versions available on the table download sites. If not, your best bet are the otherwise regrettable table packs available on archive.org . The fact that the tables in there are hopelessly outdated may actually work to your advantage.

@RadioGa welcome to the forum!
Did you try the non-GL version of VPX already?
