Hi All

It is hard to explain. I just installed 10.8 and trying the VR. I can see the table but seems the whole view is not in center. I mean not the table but the whole view. Like both lens shifted to the bottom left. Anyone can help ? Many thanks

Good that I backed up my 10.7 which was working fine

Thanks, I tried the same setting as your picture but still not working

Now I know how to describe the problem better. The picture in each lens is only 1/4 of the screen in lower left. All other area are black

Yeah, it is a wierd issue

I have some questions about your system.

1 - Which VPX 10.80 GL release?

2 - Which VR Glasses

3 - Which VR table? or any VR table.

4 - Which VR render? OpenComposite or Steam?

5 - Which Hardware CPU and GPU?

My system setup:

1 - VPX 10.80 GL release 2051. VPX 10.81 GL is not completely ready.

2 - Oculus Quest 2

3 - Any VR Table enviromment works fine

4 - Only OpenComposite

5 - My Hardware CPU I5 gen 11 GPU RTX 3060 12GB

Have you recentered with the table recenter  button?

OK

1  - Fine

2 - I suppose your VR desktop with PC. (I never understood what means "virtual desktop". For me "virtual desktop" is a software only run in Oculus quest. No PC).

I suppose that VR desktop is centered and when start the table, The popup table VR window is centered.

3 - Fine

4 - I had error message when try to run with SteamVR. So I run with OpenComposite.

Nowadays, I am playing with Last VPX GL 10.80 - 2051 from VPX laucher.

You can see from this VPX launcher folder the file "openvr_api64_steam.dll".

So try to change to OpenComposite render mode if you are start VPX GL 10.80 - 2051 direct from "VPinballX_GL64.exe"

There is a developer file where are missing some dlls. Also, in GITHUB there a recommendatiion about SteamVR dll downloads

5 - Fine

I tried many thing and finally I solved it after clicking "Set for High End PC" in Video/Graphics Options. But funny thing is once it works, it still working even I clicked back to "Set for Low End PC". So I am confused and still don't know exactly which setting was root cause. Anyway, it is working now. Thanks everyone

The settings are saved here in the .ini file.

There was probably something wrong or corrupted.

You can delete the .ini file, VPX will generate a new one upon reboot.

If you have your VPX Supersampling set higher than 100% or off this can cause you to see what you are seeing.
