I've been trying to figure this out for days.

I have roughly 1000 MAME games on my Vpin and I have most of the marquees for them, but since I have a fulldmd (23" 16:9 monitor) the marquees stretch when being displayed.  I was wondering if it was possible to use the dmd that is used when playing vpx tables to display these marquees instead of having to edit them 1 by 1 to not stretch when displaying on the monitor.

I've found a bunch of already made marquees, but they use a metal honeycomb pattern below and above the marquee that doesn't quite fit my taste.  It would be nice to just display them on the dmd and resize them as necessary that way.

Have a look at DOF2DMD (on Github).  It uses FlexDMD to put marquees, live scores and animations on a DMD with the assistance of DOFLinx.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
