Hi All,

currently I'd like to setup VPX 10.8 and VPMame 3.6 on a single portrait screen but anyhow I try, I cannot hide/disable the builtin DMD. I'd like to use Freezy's DMD solution. See the left side of the screenshot, it's partially hidden behind the backglass. Also, I want to get rid of the backglass entirely.

I have spent hours trying to figure it out, changing registry, un/reinstalling/trying multiple versions, all had some kind of issue. Now, aside from these two issues, it would be fine for me, but I just can't solve this...

Sometimes I feel that my settings are not even picked up by VPX.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Thank you, this seems to work, but now the Freezy DMD is not shown on top of the table (but everything else...)

Is there a global setting for its location or do I need to adjust per table?

I have show dmd set to disable, which is also reflected in the registry but did not help.

check your dmddevice.ini for this:

; a DMD that renders with nice dots on a computer monitor
[virtualdmd]
enabled = true

; virtual dmd stays on top of all other windows
stayontop = true

You can use windowspunch:

Right mouseclick on the backglass, - backglass-menu opens. Click on more.. activate b2swindowspunch active .. make a test.. your DMD should be on top now. It tooks 3 seconds and b2sserver cuts a hole for your dmd.
you can move your freezy-dmd with your mouse and size it. than right click on it. Now you can save this for this table - (romname) or for every table.

Wow, what functions exist! However, it seems to have been solved by setting input API to Xinput, although I don't exactly know what this did, but so far so good.
