Hey guys,

 

I could really need your help.

 

I set up my cabinet with 3 screens (1st playfield, 2nd backglass, 3rd DMD). I've configured video preferences, B2S and set the location of my DMD with SetDMD.

All is working fine, when I launch the installed tables in VPX.

 

Now I want to use PinballY as frontend. I really like this one and had it up running on another cap before.

But now I have the following issue and can't get it fixed:

 

When I launch the installed VPX tables through PinballY my DMD is appearing in small size on the Playfield an not on the 3rd screen.

 

I tried the following yet:

- checked resolutions and B2S Setup

- deleted and reset VPINMAME's nvrams and cfg

- reinstalled VPINMAME

- ran SetDMD again and again

 

It's alsways the same. It works when tables are launched in VPX. And does not work when VPX is launched through PinballY.

 

I'm really sad... :-( I got all media capture yet and would really love to get that fixed instead of using another frontend.

 

Does anyone have an idea?

Hey WrackJacket,

 

Check a couple of things:

If that DMD shows "Pinbally" right click on it and turn off DMD.

Go into Pinbally's options, Real DMD, set Enable always.

In Pinbally's options again under Game Launch make sure Real DMD is NOT checked.

In Pinbally's options again under Systems, Visual Pinball at the bottom of that window there's a checkbox to keep the Real DMD on. Make sure it's NOT checked.

Hi Roadblock,

 

thank you for your quick answer.

 

I've checked the things. And I checked some more. What I could find out is that the issue is not depending on PinballY.

 

My latest findings are that it is a VPX Problem.

 

When I start VPX and than load a table and start it that way, the DMD is at the right position.

When I start a table in tables folder (without opening VPX before) I got the DMD shown at the playfield.

 

I will start a new topic more accurate on what I found out.
