File Submitted: 06 Jun 2023

File Category: Visual Pinball VR

Author(s): JPSalas
Manufacturer: Sega
Year: 1997
ROM: Link to ROM
Permission to MOD?: Unspecified

This is a VR Room for JP's table (https://www.vpforums...&showfile=15072)

I want to thank JP for his permission to modify his table for VR.
I also want to thank all the VR guys, where I copied primitives, scripts etc from : Sixtoes, RAWD, Rajo Joey and Uncle Paulie (let me know if I missed anyone)
I used Wildman's backglass image in VR. So thanks to him as well.

I couldn't find any decent cabinet artwork to use so I customized my own.

It must be a JP thing, but I have a ball shadow and another black drop that I cannot identify :

I guess you hva some flies in your VR :)
It is the ball shadows, you will need to edit the script and set those unused shadows under the apron. You do that in the ball rolling sub. I used to "park" those shadows at about 3000, but for vr they should be under the apron. Each table will be different, at about 25 units less than the length of the height of the playfield.

Thanks JP, i had it with my conversion of Cyclyone as well, and could not point it to an object. I will check the script as well. I searched ages on it, but never checked the script.
Again, thanks for all your work.
Btw, i saw something about an update to your physics. Will we get another 170+ table updates ? :drinks:

Now I'm on my computer :) So find this lines:

Sub RollingUpdate()
    Dim BOT, b, ballpitch, ballvol, speedfactorx, speedfactory
    BOT = GetBalls

    ' stop the sound of deleted balls
    For b = UBound(BOT) + 1 to tnob
        rolling(b) = False
        StopSound("fx_ballrolling" & b)
        aBallShadow(b).Y = 3000
    Next

And change that 3000 with 2110 and that will hide shadows under the apron :)

Yes, there will be new updates, but only for the more modern tables, as the older ones do not need the new flipper settings :) But I also want to check the tables with VPX 10.8 so I'll wait a little to update them :)
