So I had pup packs working fine and haven't made any big changes other then adding tables. All of a sudden none of my tables will close out the pup packs when terminated. This is for all tables with pup packs now and multiple restarts don't help.

This isn't a popper issue because VPX itself won't even close the pup pack when a table is closed.

I checked the wiki and have the correct DLLs (I even tried replacing the PinUpPlayerB2SDriver per the wiki, all tables have the Controller.Stop function on the script done properly (makes sense since it previously worked). I'm not sure where to look next, so any help is appreciated.

Things I've noticed:

1. There are multiple PinUpDisplays in my system tray from the multiple tables loading

2. Verified that the Controller.Stop function is in the tables tested until Table.Exit

Things I've tried already:

1. Changed the PinUpPlayerB2SDriver.dll to the one in the wiki.

2. Closing a table directly in VPX

Here is a sample of a PUPLOG.txt if that helps.

20230331 03:53:45 Open called
20230331 03:53:45 Set Game Name thread tmnt_104
20230331 03:53:46 Start Thread Matching
20230331 03:53:46 create PuPCap
20230331 03:53:46 Init Game name:tmnt_104
20230331 03:53:46 Create Object Display
20230331 03:53:46 imagedir:D:\vPinball\PinUPSystem\PuPVideos\tmnt_104\PuPCapture
20230331 03:53:46 num images 32
20230331 03:54:02 Free Object Display

I'm really at a loss here. Like I said nothing has changed as far as I'm aware.

I had this problem too, for a couple of months.

I had updated everything to VPX 8 and the B2S to v2.1 and the PinUpPopper to v1.5

Really could not find how to fix this problem, if you still cannot find it here's my answer:

What helped for me was to check if Windows was opening the VPX with Administrator rights.
You can check that with the right-click and properties in Windows Explorer.
Once i turned off the Open with Administrator privileges , everything closed normally again.

Hi, I am currently having the same problems, but apparently only with many PUP packs from Team Tuga. I can terminate most of the many other PUP packs without any problems, but I can no longer do this with the most Team Tuga PUPs, for example:
-John Wick
-IT Pinball Madness
-Deadpool
-The Purge

With the PupPack "The Exorcist" the termination works without any problems.
I always use the latest table version and have tried VPX 10.7.4 beta and 10.8 beta 8 both x32/x64. VPX and Popper were only updated at the end of last year.
I am at a loss... have the same behavior as the thread creator.
best regards

exactly same problem here.

My problem childs are: It pinball Magic, Death Race 2000, James Bond 60th and JPs Ghostbusters. I've checked all the vxp-exe-files, but none of them were configured to run as administrator. I also tried different vpx-versions for these tables, but the problem remains

By the way:

With Popper 1.50 and all the lates program versions (fresh install in 02/2024) and even after a slight hardware upgrade on a anyhow quite strong gaming computer,  i have now much MORE performance issues than i had before, when i set up the cabinet about 14 month ago  mhh... sad.... i was expecting more from all this upgrades.
