File Name: Aspen (Brunswick 1979)

File Submitter: jpsalas

File Submitted: 18 Feb 2023

File Category: VPX Recreations

Author(s): jpsalas
updon719
Manufacturer: Other - Pinball
Year: 1979
Permission to MOD?: Yes, with approval

Based on the table Aspen by Brunswick from 1979

jpsalas: vpx
updon719: graphics

This is a table build from scratch using the images made by updon719. He asked me to update his table, but I always find it easier to rebuild the tables rather than to try to mod them. This way I'm sure all the objects have the right physics and shape.

I have included a directb2s without the highscore reel since now there is a PostIt note.

I have also added a light to the bumper to show a little clearly that the "BONUS" mode is activated. In this bonus mode the rubbers scoring 50 score now 500.

I made the rules according to what I saw on the videos and in their explanations, and they may differ from the old table, but not that much :) Anyway, if I have forgotten something then just let me know in the support thread :)

I'm not sure if my table is much better than updon719, as that table was very nicely done, but since he asked to make an update then here it is what I can do with the table. I could have added some more lights, but then it should be too different than the original :)

Enjoy
JP

Thanks for this one, JP, it seems very easy to play but it ain't, and it's also very addictive.

I have uploaded the table with batch's backdrop, so you don't need to move the reels and lights :) Thanks batch for the backdrop! :)

The file name with this new backdrop is called Aspen (Brunswick 1979) v600_batch
