Hi everybody,

The last few weeks I have worked on my own cab called "ZERO PIN".
Today, I nearly have finished it (aprox. 80%-90%).
Still missing are the glass, two buttons for nudging and the backglass wood.

Here I present two current pics of my "ZERO PIN". Enjoy... smile.gif

Very Nice! Welcome to the club. smile.gif Very nice artwork and custom lockdown bar.

I agree that you should raise the back of the TV about 3" though.

Thank you for your replies and hints.
Regarding the TV, you are fooled by the picture because the angle of the upper end line of the cab itself is 7° and painted black and the TV has an angle of only about 2° (is like an optical illusion).
Further more, perhaps the perspective adds another "feeled" odd angle.
But I will think of that.

For testing I played Indiana Jones, Haunted House, Cirqus Voltaire, Medieval Madness, Theatre of Magic and FunHouse.
And I have to say, it plays fabulous. smile.gif
Even better than what I have expected.

Finally my decision was to use leaf/blade switches for the flipper buttons connected via PS/2 to the PC.
I have to say, thus you can react very very quick!
(The other buttons of the cab (select, coins, ...) are micro switches)

Before owning the cab, I connected my Wii remote to my PC and played the pinballs with that - in this way I could nudge by shaking the remotes, too.
I can recommend this if not owning a cab.
But I think there is little lag because of usb and bluetooth compared to leaf switches (below 20ms). If you have no comparison you wont notice that.

Do you think, it is necessary to use fans though the cab is completely open on the lower side?

Good looking cab...but...I really like the look of that Bert & Ernie backglass you've got hiding away underneath the cab at the back smile.gif

I know it's not a backglass...but it has given me the insipiration to make a Sesame Street table (Bert & Ernie always make me laugh).

Regards,
Dan.
