Hello all,

A newbie to Virtual Pinball here. I am getting to grips with the set up and after following the great tutorial by Nailbuster on Youtube, all the Pinup Popper is set up fine.

I have an i7 Processor, 1050Ti graphics card and  a brand new LG 43 inch 4K TV. I have put it into Gamer mode and the When I run the excellent Retroflair Bam Edition Arcade Invaders table it comes with, it works perfectly. No lag.

If I then choose the Leprechaun table, the flippers have a slight lag/delay. So I downloaded Kiss Pinball and Elvis also and they too have some lag on the flippers.

Only commonality I can see is that the laggy tables are VPX and the Retroflair table is Future Pinball.

Is there anything I need to tune in VPX somewhere to lose the lag? If it was affecting all games, I would say "TV" or "Graphics card" but FP works fine.

Any advice to a newbie is greatly appreciated!

What kind of controller do you use ?
I had a virtuapin controller and works without lag. After that board died, i bought a pinscape and also works without lag.
I have set vp to use vsync with unlimited fps.
Hit f11 during gameplay to check on how many fps the game is running.
If you have input lag, maybe the fps drops?

Thank you Mike! I am waiting for my LED-Wiz to turn up at the moment so currently using my keyboard while I configure. However, I seem to have solved the issue.

Yes, my TV was in "Gamer Mode" but looking at the settings, the input lag was greyed out on my new LG TV. However the Gamer Mode was switched on. So I persevered with the menus trying to find the settings mentioned online but they did not exist on my TV. I was about to give up when I noticed the TV was running in "Eco" mode. So it was saving electricity! Switched that to normal and hey presto, the Input lag setting went from "Off" to "On"! It now works perfectly. So thanks for your feedback. It made me go and inspect things more closely. Definitely not something I had seen but worth checking your TV is not in Eco mode everyone, you might unlock better performance!

Good finding, but why was it working in FP fine and not with VP?
Anyway, I would prefer a monitor instead of a 4k tv (especially if you can put a 43" in it). And preferred a 100+ hz or higher. That really makes a difference.
