Thank you bigus for this. I have changed the cgamename to 1.86 rom in the script. Seems to work. Do you know if there would be problems with the latest rom update?

Generically usually there is not

 

Usually only a problem if trying to swap a Vault edition ROM for a Limited Edition, or sometimes Premium Edition
as sometimes those can vary in parts that the table actually has.
Limited Editions usually have some extra gameplay objects

Looks like a really great update and looks great. However the shooter lane looks completely wrong. I think something needs adjusting in the shooter lane.

 

Just had a look at the playfield image you have used. It's much better than the ones used on other Iron Man tables, but is missing the shooter lane image.

Thanks Again for the update. I have one small problem. I am getting bad ball stutter the first time I hit Whiplash / Whiplash magnet. I have just upgraded my graphics and have a rock solid frame rate the rest of the time.

 

Would be grateful if you could take a look.

The ROM Iron Man Vault Edition v1.83 is not available @ Stern's !

 

I've tried to rename "im_186ve.zip" to "im_183ve.zip" but it says wrong version...

The VP universe page says "download_no_perm" and I don't want to create a millionth account  (fed up with registering for this and that, since 25 years)

I managed to make it run by editing the script, however the DMD doesn't show up unfortunately.

You can download the 186 version and just rename it in the script, it works perfectly. Only that at the time the table was built there was only the 183 version.

You could extract, rename the bin to whatever vpinmame is looking for, rezip, and name it to im_186ve

Or rename the script to 186

Or sign up to VPUniverse to get 183 and then enjoy the exclusive tables that are hosted there like the VPinWorkshop tables
