File Name: Vector (Bally 1982)

File Submitter: Mustang1961

File Submitted: 21 Mar 2022

File Category: VPX/VPinMAME Recreations

Author(s): Schlabber34<br />Sindbad
Manufacturer: Bally
Year: 1982
ROM: Link to ROM
Permission to MOD?: Unspecified

In the past 7 years with FP and VP I was able to gain some experience in aligning games. But still my skills are limited. We are playing cab only, so I cannot say the game is in its state good for desktop users.

Thanks for helping me in many questions goes to Martin Bunker, Loserman76 (unforgotten), Michael Függemann, Juan Pablo Salas & all the others kind conversations with members of this friendly community.

When you intend to continue with your mod please ask Schabber34 and Sindbad in advance.

I hope you like it, sincerely Christian.

Score display for 3rd player is still offset, just like in Sinbad's/32assasin's version.

Maybe an issue with the rom you are using?

It's not a ROM issue.  It's within the table itself.

I would attach a screenshot, but I don't have that option, and I can't seem to find a valid imagehost to post to.

Desktop backbox he means
just align the digits for player 3 score, align to right of box rather than centered

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

Is there an easy way to do that?

If I try to select them all as a group and change the X coordinates, it doesn't move the segmented display, only the lights.

It's a little more complicated than usual because the segments are part of a collection,

after having selected all the segments of the display you have to look for the last segment that was created, don't worry I'll tell you which one it is,

point the mouse cursor on the central horizontal segment of the extreme right digit,

right click and select translate, in the window that has opened put a value of 60 as X Offset and press OK.

You can also experiment to understand where to move the objects,

after having put values in the X or Y boxes with Apply you can check the new location of the objects,

and with Undo reposition in the original position, when the position satisfies you press OK.

Thanks Kiwi.  The only way I could get to work what you suggested was to remove everything from the BG collection, because if I selected as you described above, it would select ALL the digits and it shifted all of them right.

Now if I could only figure out why the digits are showing up white instead of orange, I'll be good!
