This beautifully detailed table from cyberpez is challenging fun.
I've given it a makeover with some added sparkle and fixes.
2.0 has new physics and lighting for 10.8
Enjoy :)

Excellent and thank you as usual:

1) What kind of things are included in the makeover?

2) Did you make any adjustments to the Physics Engine or Settings?

Definitely a fantastic table ! Thanks Again.

I change the lighting method for the inserts so that they produce strong, colorful reflections and I tune and modify the other lights. I also change the environment lighting. The physics have many changes that are tailored to the table. I altered the playfield primitive and re-positioned it, plus lowered the playfield height to enable ball reflections. It took ages to figure that one out, but I'm glad I know how to fix that now. Chucked-in some shadows, fixed the subway eating balls, altered the ramps to stop balls flying off, changed the animation and lighting for the sawmill and the DT backdrop, adjusted the lighting across the whole table and added some rails. I swapped the ramp LEDs because they were back-to-front. Some layout refinements. That's the bulk of what I remember :)

Excellent and thanks for explaining all that, I am noticing your version is a touch easier to hit the ramp shots which is a good thing. In some other versions I just could not get enough speed on the ball to make it all the way up the ramps sometimes so thanks. I do like your approach with the lighting so will study that .. it has a good look to it,

R&B has never been an easy table to play, and some of the objectives are not crystal clear, but Bigus' mod has brought it into the realm of practical enjoyment.  I play a real R&B regularly at a friend's house, and he had to change quite a few options from the arcade defaults to make it easier to achieve more than 5 minutes playing a game!

Keep at it Bob it gets better, and Bigus' version plays at a really good pace with shots you are able to hit.
