I am using 10.7 final.
Skitso detail mod version of this table.
I downloaded the new altsound too use for it and it just crashes the table. It crashes it to the point of I have to clear the registry ? Anybody else experinece this?

Same issue here. If I remove the nvram then it works the first time, then crashes every time after that. Good news is it's not just you. Bad news is, I still haven't been able to figure out how to fix it while still using the Altsound.

Hi there,

i also had a hard crash using the table from Skitso, and

Altsound - The Shadow (Bally 1994) | Ultimate Mix 1.0.0

Then I changed the used rom in the script:

Const cGameName = "ts_lx5"

This fixes my crash

Same as Mkl66, happens with both versions of the table that I have. I think it might be a recent VPinMAME update issue and not a VPX issue?

Still no fix. Crashes once twice three times. Oh well just a table with no altsound no big deal. I was just curious if someone new why. I do have the lateste v pin mame , sam build , and vpx

Actually, turns out the bug is in the altsound.csv that comes with the package, as the line

"0x013d", 1, 10, 80, 0, 0, "start_pl", "0x013d-start_pl.ogg

misses the final "

..in addition i will also improve the robustness of the CSV parser so that it doesn't just crash..
