File Name: Fight Night_Bigus(MOD)

File Submitter: bigus1

File Submitted: 16 Nov 2021

File Category: VPX/VPinMAME - MOD Tables

Author(s): Bigus1, Chris La Mantia
Manufacturer: Original
Year: 2014
Permission to MOD?: Unspecified

This excellent original from Chris La Mantia is challenging fun.
I've converted it to VP10 and given it a makeover. I've retained the original art
on the new playfield and plastics. END key for options and place the provided font
into your Windows Font folder for the score display.
Enjoy :)

Thanks for your work. Is there a way to move the DMD to another display?

I am having trouble with the font not displaying properly. I get numbers and letters so how can I fix this?

If you have a cabinet, the backglass it's not displayed. Could you try enabling it in your VPX to understand what I'm trying to say please?

Grab the b2s from Snaptick - https://www.vpforums...&showfile=16259

Add  LoadController  at line 127 and add what's below to line 130 to enable b2s.

Dim Controller
 Sub LoadController()
 Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server")
 Controller.B2SName = "Fight Night"  ' *****!!!!This must match the name of your directb2s file and the table!!!!
 Controller.Run()
 End Sub

Also, the font included with the table needs to be pasted into Windows Font folder for the score to display properly.

Thanks. It worked like a charm. Now I only need to know how to move the DMDs displays to the backglass. Is there a solution for that too ?

For anyone who wants it. I added a grill, but don't have time to code the backglass.

I love this table and thought it would be cool to upgrade the playfield.  Cheating I ran it through an AI script and after a few different prompts I got this.  Obviously would need some tweaking to make everything fit.  I have attached the playfield if anyone wants to give it a go. https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing

I was only playing this 3 days ago!  Thinking the same thing but I don't think this AI job will cut it.  The inverted text didn't survive the process and the AI table efforts that are starting to appear remind me of advertising posters for war games with the high contrast and saturation.  They also tend to look cluttered.  I guess if you prompt the AI to avoid all that, it might give a more useful result. Maybe just an old-school reskin with AI used to make it prettier would be better.
