File Category: VPX/VPinMAME - MOD Tables

Author(s): Bigus1, Cyberpez
Manufacturer: Data East
Year: 1991

This quality table from Cyberpez looks good and plays well.
I've given it a makeover and added some missing lights.
2.0 is much prettier, has subway ball trap fixed and plays better.
Enjoy  :)

The DMD looks a bit odd when I run this table. Any tips on how to fix this?

Script setting,

.ShowDMDOnly=1

if 0, or commented out, DMD will look like that.

Uncommenting that string seems to have done the trick. Thanks!

Any idea why the music would cut out?  It only seems to be affecting this table and while sound effects are still present, the music is gone.

Hi bigus1,

first of all thank you very much for your great mods.

About this table I experienced a bug, but I'm not sure what really happened.

I installed latest version of the table in my cabinet and when the last ball (ball 3) was on the table, the ball entered the sewer lane enabling the multiball mode.

When all the three balls went over, the game didn't end at all.
Then I tried to manually take control of the ball and one of them returned from the drain, but  every time it fallen back to the drain the game never ended.
By the way, the last two balls fallen out in the drain almost contemporarily, but after that the game never ended and the pinball periodically after a fixed time, repeated the sequence to expel the balls from the holes (that were empty of course).
Do you have any suggestion about this?

Everywhere a ball rolls, there's fun!

Dunno, that's a weird one. Retrieving a ball from the drain shouldn't happen. Maybe delete your nvram and see how it goes - surprising how often that works with wacky stuff.

Hi bigus1.

Thank you very much for the quick reply.

As already said, I don't know why it happened, but surprisingly the ball popped out back from the drain and returned to be played.

In my opinion, It looks like the drain hole it was occupied by the previous ball and the last ball can't enter the drain and remained there on the table

Please note that this is just an impression of mine, I've not really experienced it.

Have a great day.

Massimo
