Recently I have been using a gimbal instead of accelerators. A gimbal offers the option to read the x and y axes of the cabinet. When you lift the cabinet, the ball will roll backwards.
I can pass the x and y data directly to VP 10, but I can only pass the nudges through keystrokes. Is there another way to do this or am I missing something?

If your gimbal is rolling the ball, then it is working correctly

If you can not nudge, then it sounds like it is simply not moving enough when you push the cabinet

What kind of gimbal setup do you have?
Is it spring centered? or free swinging?

Have any pictures of it?

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

Yes, the gimbal is rolling the ball by using the X and Y axis. The gyros are used to send the nudge pulses by using a sendkeys command.

I use a SimpleBGC mini controller board. Normally used for steadycams and drones. I had to write the software by myself because this board has only output connectors for the stepper motors.

i cant see that if its on facebook

but if picking up the table makes the ball roll, maybe you just are not getting enough movement when nudging

or need to increase sensitivity
