ball disappearing "downstairs" at plunger!?

Hi, I have a strange problem with the lately published "pistol poker". Sometimes the ball vanishes, it seems it falls from the plunger (during pulli g it) to the left and disappears. Ball rolling sound goes on and on then and O have to exit vpx/kill vpx. There is a gate already and i also tried to set walls and ao on, but did not help. Whats going on there? (10.6 and 10.7 beta)

I had troubles with this table because I didn't read Antisect's comments ![]()
Did you install beta 3.4 of pinmame you can find at the link below ?

I don't really see how an update to pinmame would solve disappearing balls. Sure, it will solve being playable, with the rom. Gaston fixed the issue older pinmame versions had with the rom, so beta 3.4.xxx is needed. I've been a bit too busy to really learn the rules and enjoy this table fully yet. I have seen ball disappearing from the plunger on a few tables before. In the few games I have played. This hasn't happened to me though. The common thing I believe has been that the table has a primitive playfield. So, if this is the case here, it might be related. If you are correct though makmak, that the ball is going back into the kicker, then a update to vpx seems to be a good thing to do, if of course that gate isn't a 2-way, which I'm pretty sure it isn't. It would also not be that hard to make sure that the kicker at start is shooting the ball a bit upwards on eject, so it would be almost impossible to "shoot" it back in. Just some adjustments to the walls and a small change to the kicker angle.
Btw. I'm still looking forward to learn this game. It seems to be very well made and I enjoyed it even without knowing the rules.

...and there it happened again...fresh download, fresh update to latest vpx and vpinmame. the ball does not roll back into the kicker. It looks like the ball sometimes does not "lie correctly on the plunger lane, you know in its "trough"" but somewhere on top of it. If i pull the plunger then, the ball rolls a few pixels to the left and disappears to nowhere, definitely not back to the kicker. Yes there is a oneway-gate, and i have already enlarged it. But the ball does not go through the gate, it dissapears into the gate somehow. I moved the trigger sw21 somewhat back and forth and i think it has to do with this trigger somehow?

@batch found out it might has to do with the 1s Plunger retract option somehow...having this option checked AND having mechanical plunger enabled seems to cause the disappearing ball (strange enough it happened on the 3rd ball only in my last 3 trys). So no skill shot anymore on this table for me.
(I dont use the mechanical plunger as I have crazy jitter/stutter with my mech plunger from the beginning on, so I was very happy having the 1s retract plunger option now...).
But at least this seems to be the one and only table with a disappearing ball...
As far as I can see its a prim pf...

Well. Since I've seen it before and it has always been on tables with pf mesh. I'm not so sure that Batch's solution is the actual resolve. Reason for saying this. I've created a few pf meshes myself, and tables have gone from not having issues at all to having this issue. Redoing the pf mesh is what I've done to resolve those. It could be normals that are pointing in the wrong direction.

Sure it ain't "THE" solution, I just tried to reproduce the problem
"Still strange no one else but batch could provoke it", perhaps it's because I'm a desktop user, and I've unchecked "Enable 1s Plunger Retract", because the plunger was too slow
What is strange, as says Makmak, is that it happens on the 3rd ball only
But I ain't the guy who will solve this issue ![]()

I like the machine, and have already planned playing it more extensive. So, well, being a table with "issues", I will have a closer look if I'm able to reproduce what you guys are saying or if it is more in the direction of what I'm expecting ![]()

Strange, it's already "collidable" and all physics values = 0

that "toy" checkbox overides Collidable (it should in fact grey out collidable if toy is checkd)
im going to upload a new version with this fixed, hopefully.

Toy is "unchecked"

To get the problem, you need to have these plunger settings
Enable Mechanical Plunger is "unchecked" (Plunger -> Physics)
Enable 1s Plunger Retract is "checked" (Preferences -> Configure Keys Nudge and DOF)
