On some of my tables, I get this strange effect, where there's an outlining of the moving object. A shadow is often inside. I've tried the obvious options within the video/graphics options but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Here's a snippet of Fun Fest:

Might be because of what the author used for ball shadows?

I see it on a fair number of tables, though. It's usually not this severe. More like a single thin ellipse around the moving part.

i see that sometimes when a table uses prims for ball shadows

i swap the prims for flashers and it fixes it, but not all tables use a ball shadow script that works out right with flashers

I found that, as a workaround, unchecking the Screen Space Reflections checkbox in the Visual Pinball Video/Graphics Options seems to eliminate that issue. But that is a global option for all tables that are run.

For just specific tables, I open the table in Visual Pinball and change the ScSp. Reflect, in the User Customizations menu in Options to Off from the pull down menu.

My suspicion is that it may be how my graphics card is handling these type of shadows, but I have yet to confirm this.

The fix is to lower the height of the ball shadow objects so they themselves dont have shadows.

Select the ball shadow objects using Select Element and change the height to 0.01
