Many thanks for the great tutorials and development this community has done to bring Future Pinball to us! I have really enjoyed getting Future Pinball set up and running on my computer. I am using an xbox360 controller and find it works well, but would really like to get the force feedback working. Is this possible in a desktop/laptop environment? I have tried several searches, but as usual, if you don't get the right terminology you don't get results ;-). What am I missing?

FP doesn't support force feedback.

You would need to set up DOF Framework, and DOFlinx

and then you would need to add it to the table script itself

 

I can not tell you the setup though for using the x360 controller as the DOF hardware
I think currently it actually requires a pinscape controller or something like one.

 

The only real proper solution for that would be to build it into BAM

and have BAM FF events that send xinput feedback commands.

 

Pretty easy to do, but i dont know that it is a great priority for the BAM team, the people actually mentioning wanting to use that is kind of minimal

 

Plus, you still need to add it to the tables

Thanks, good to know. Works very well so easy to live with until I can't resist the urge to build out a full cabinet! 8-)
