Is it normal for you dmd to display weirdly on this table. Scores show properly on backglass but dmd display is “funky”

where do you get this option of "Restore Window Size"...I am having some troubles with showing the score and info display...

............

 

I got it...Now I know how to fix it...and now it works for me...It was just need to position the display window at the richt position manually...thanks for the input.

Can someone please explain how to get the scores to display as in the post from batch above. I can't get any option to "Restore window size". If I right click on my third monitor the whole thing just freezes. The only b2s file I can find is about eight years old and is simply an image of the girl, there's no scores at all and changing option when right clicking the backglass has no effect.

You have to alter line 129 to 0 which is currently set as 1 to get the score board enabled

Hi DBrown67,

 

I tried somethings out and in the end it worked for me so I will try to tell you how I fixed it.

I believe you are using the desktop version just like me. So make sure that in the script the line 129 is set to "0".

[  hidden = 0    'enable to hide DMD if You use a B2S backglass' ].

Than to get the option "Restore window size" when you start your pinball you may do it like me :-) so while starting you have to leave the basic view so I am doing it by pressing ALt + Tab.

Like that you will be able to see the display (picture shown above) where you can right click "show windows border" so you can change the size of the window when you get your cursor on the edge of the display and you just pull it a bit.

Than again right click and "show windows border" to remove the border and at the end "restore window".

Like that I am now having the score display at the right size and the right position.

I hope this would help you out somehow.

what version of vpx do you have installed?

Using both, official release and betas same issue. Window pop up on taskbar but empty (nothin happen when i click on it). Accidentally i used maximize option and then saw txt. Is that normal?

it may have gotten stuck

Windows can do that sometimes (on any program), position of window gets messed up in registry

 

Yes if you right click it and pick maximize, then grab the window by the top and yank it, and then resize it to something suitable
windows should get its head out of it's butt about how to display the window again and you should be able to maximize minimize and less than full screen properly again

I don't get it, how do you get the DMD to make any sense? Mine seems top be bundled up (the cards on the board and the score) like this. Looks realy bad.
