File Name: Beat The Clock (Bally 1985) WIP

File Submitter: goldchicco

File Submitted: 15 Jan 2021

File Category: VPX/VPinMAME Recreations

Author(s): Goldchicco
dboyrecords
Manufacturer: Bally
Year: 1985
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

I fully coded the table converting the vp9 table, script is complete, switches numbers, lights numbers and code (this table is one of those exceptions tables in PinMame).

Sources are really low for me , I opened a WIP treat, but no one responded, so I am try to publish the table, so maybe will catch more attention.

I am posting it here to see if someone would jump onboard or rebuild it or having access to sources can provide better playfield and plastics images.

This table is NOT INTENDED to be played at the moment (if you decide to play with it, it's all on you)  and so please don’t post questions about this or that is not working.

This table is posted to try to make a good one in VPX and can be used as blueprint.

Nice one. I wasn't even aware that Beat The Clock had a Visual Pinball 9 version. The Visual Pinball 8 Version did not have a properly working Service Menu.

This is one of my favourite Bally tables due to its different game play. I look forward to when you have finished a playable version. Keep up the great work.

I'm not planning to finish it or go back working on this table.
It's ready and fully coded in vpx for anyone interested in rebuilding it or make it esthetically better

Dont feel bad, i have some conversions that i did the same thing on.
Simply converted the table to work and play right in VPX, but left anything original that didnt require updating alone
and then uploaded it for others to take and mod more with new art etc, and the explicity wrote that in the description, like you did

and still people ask "are you going to finish this? when are you going to update this"

i guess they dont read what we write

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow
