File Name: Highlander (TBA 2019)

File Submitter: ivantba

File Submitted: 01 Jun 2020

File Category: VPX Originals

Author(s): ivantba
Javier
Pinwizkid
Permission to MOD?: Unspecified

I was a child when the Highlander was released. The ’80s were teeming with better-than-better movies, and somehow my attention was always distracted from the Highlander...
Then when I got to watch it, I liked the movie. It didn’t become my favorite, but with an unmissable classic with Christopher Lambert in the lead role.
And the phenomenal music is performed by none other than Freddie Mercury.
Although the film has a great story, the music from the Queen has made the work truly memorable and lavish. Who wouldn't know e.g. a who wants to live forever? Ahhh, I'm always sensitive to this song...

Video of the gameplay:

Original (my resource) table:
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 v1.01
Author(s): Javier, Pinwizkid
Special thanks to Javier for using his boards to free to mods!

So, a complete multimedia package is included with the compressed file. Among others, the backglass (directb2s) file. PinballX desktop and cabinet files (audio, pictures, flyers, instruction cards, wheel, etc.)

Unfortunately, music playback may stop from time to time. I have not yet found a solution to this problem. This phenomenon can also be observed in the case of the source table (Sonic).

Nice! For the music issue, you might ask Nailbuster about it. I helped him create his PinUp Jukebox table based on the Sonic table, and he was able to fix that issue. Thank you for all of the amazing stuff!

Hello! I'll share you the drive link to FPVPX.vbs file. Just copy it into the scripts directory. This is also included in the Sonic board (the source).

Just one question : how can we do multiplay on this great table? I've put the line Const constMaxPlayers = 4 but no way to add players when playing (with the '1' key).

The script has a line pointing to multiple players (line 113). But unfortunately I couldn’t validate more than 1 player either. It would be time for me to ask Javier about this phenomenon :)

Here are my wheels for this table.
If you want more wheels made by me (more than 1.000), take a look here:

Or download them directly from the PinUp Popper mediadatabase.

The wheels below are reduced in quality, because of the very small uploadsize here.

Yet another beautiful table by one of our masters of originals. Thanks TBA. Question, any way to turn off the grill? I have a 3 screen cab so the grill is not needed.

I'm glad you like it!! Perhaps the easiest process is to simply cut the grill surface from the backglass image using an image editor and then import the modified image using the backglass designer.

Unfortunately, I have never even tried to do anything in bg designer. Is is easy? I guess I prolly should learn how to do it. Does it require me to script? I'm not really knowledgeable in scripting.

no need to edit the image usually.

import directb2s file into b2s designer

click view and pick zoom to window

and pick set grill height

put green line at top of grill

Click backglass

pick create backglass file

Now a new copy of the backglass exists in the b2s designer\projects\backglass name folder

now just copy it to your tables folder

run table

right click backglass

set grill to HIDE

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

wow, that was easy. didn't even have to turn off grill. it disappeared like magic!

how do I remove the grill from within the designer? Even though it's not showing in game, it still shows in the designer.

I obviously need to learn how to use this. trying to add some reels for scoring and credits but getting errors stating check the start digit and it can't save.
