Hello again.

So This isn't REALLY a WIP as it's a finished project of mine. Before I worked on my Blade Runner 2049 Table - I made a re-skin of JP's "Slimer" table to include the Stern Ghostbusters Art. (Sorry to keep picking on your great design work JP )

Anyway, I thought I should post here first to make sure there is any interest in this as well as check to make sure this won't violate anything since Stern seems to have gone after sites that had offered the VPX Ghostbusters table.

I don't want to post this MOD if the folks that run this Forum feel it would get them in trouble with Stern or anyone.

I made this because even though I found a copy of the Ghostbusters VPX table I couldn't get it to work on my machine and just trying to get it working somehow seemed more hassle than me just up and re-skinning "Slimer" and making it myself

So PLEASE let me know if this MOD would be okay to upload in the MODs section (and let me know if people are interested in having it)
and I will make it available.

Hi wpilot,

If it's just an art mod, using the same rules and DMD animations as the Slimer table, I see no issue with it.

The 'taboo' of the previous Ghostbusters release was its use of commercial software to make it happen. That isn't the case here.

The table has also been out of production for a while, and it's over 4 years old. That's probably where I'd draw the line.

Maybe having this available will satiate the cravings for the version-not-to-be-mentioned-anywhere. Lol

Go for it. I'll definitely check it out in my cab.

Yeah it's just an art MOD of Slimer. Nothing more. All audio and gameplay are the same. It's a great Table BTW. JP always does an incredible job.

Maybe I should wait for JPs approval as well?

Ok. Thanks for the quick response and approval. I'll wait for JP to make sure I'm not stepping on all his work either. (He mentioned in another post that all his tables are free to MOD, but I'd rather be safe than sorry)

And yeah I made the art switch for the same reason you mentioned: to satisfy my desire for the Ghostbusters table. The two are similar enough in terms of layout and gameplay. The Stern has more bells and whistles.

The only thing with this is that it's not 4k resolution. I have an HD screen so it doesn't bother me but people with 4k monitors might not like it.

Yes, all my tables are free to mod. I only ask with permission is the graphics are made by another author,

I'm wondering if you can make a save for coin 1/2. Now that you load the table, it won't remember the settings.
