Duke Nukem 3D was born at a time when Doom was sitting on the throne of FPS games and was born in the 90's with this style of First Person Shooting games.
However, this game, combined with its outstanding mood, its hilariously well-composed music and its uncompromising vocabulary of the protagonist, created the perfect blend of incoming alien monsters in the FPS world.
Our Duke's exhibitionism, the presence of shotgun stuffed in the barrel, the presence of "pig cops" splashing in the blood, and the shirtless girls waiting to be rescued posed a challenge for the players, most of whom became fans of the genre.
Lots of missions, standalone episodes, and Duke Nukem Forever part, made for at least (14!) Years, put his name on Duke...
Of course, maybe just for coffee machine hasn't appeared yet...:)
Made a great Balls of Steel pinball version in 1998, but I wanted to make a tribute vpx version as well.

Video of the gameplay:

Important note: the contents of the music library (mp3 files) are placed in the following folder: Visual Pinball\Music
So, a complete multimedia package is included with the compressed file. Among others, the backglass (directb2s) file. PinballX desktop and cabinet files (audio, pictures, flyers, instruction cards, wheel, etc.)

There is a "Censored" version in the Plastics Censored directory, in case it might not be played by adults people...:)

Original (my resource) table:
Judas Priest v1.0 (based on Jpsalas great Skateball table) By the way, Xenonph has already made an ultra-cool version of the Greedo's Cantina from the Skateball board.

Thank you very much to Siggi and of course Jpsalas too for allowing me to modify, re-theme his superb tables!

You can find the necessary rom file to start the table here (skatebll.zip):

Ah, the memories...

As a fan of Duke Nukem, thank you!

Also, this reminds me: there was a Duke Nukem pinball, "Balls of Steel", in fact there were like 6 tables in the package made by Wildfire Studios. They were 2D but they were a lot of fun to play.

Has anybody tried to reproduce Wildfire's tables in VPX?

Thanks for the feedback Hawyer. Well, yes, I know Balls of Steel, and I made a gameplay video of it on my channel:

Although it is 2D and has low resolution graphics, but it doesn't matter because it's very fun gameplay. Surely a lot of work can be done to turn these creations into a vpx version...

Hi ivantba

I'm new to VPX and I don't know where to drop some of the contents from within your packed files.

Could you please explain me ?

EDIT :
I've found a post that explains it (but not all)

Your table is a little bit too EM style. It lacks of a mistery feature and things like that.
