I have a pack containing hundreds of Pinball Table for use with all versions of Visual Pinball, from the first ones to the latest ones for Visual Pinball FX.

 

I had a little question, though. I know that VP8 tables only work with VP8, VP9 tables with only VP9 and so on, but what about the first 7 versions of VP? Did they all have any unique features that make tables of those versions unusable with VP8? If not, does that mean that any table from VP1-7 can work without issue on VP8? This is something that was not quite clear to me.

Yes, VP8 can play all the older tables.

Some might show issues of course as they were not tweaked for VP8(.1) potentially, but as JP said, in general they should work.
