Permission to MOD?: Unspecified

Eddie Murphy, one of the most busy and popular Hollywood actors of the 1980s, put his name down and started his career with the Beverly Hills Cop.
The action comedy became a blockbuster success. Axel Foley's personalization was perfect for Eddie.
The first episode was followed by two more movie film, and the success of the predecessor continued to be ridden.
What made this movie truly memorable is the superbly composed background music that Harold Falermeyer deserves.

With this tribute board, I project a little shadow of the Beverly Hills palm trees on this new pinball table.

Video of the gameplay:

Important note: the contents of the music library (mp3 file) are placed in the following folder: Visual Pinball\Music
So, a complete multimedia package is included with the compressed file. Among others, the backglass (directb2s) file. PinballX desktop and cabinet files (audio, pictures, flyers, instruction cards, wheel, etc.)

Original (my resource) table:
Faeton v1.0.3

Thank you very much to JPSalas for allowing me to modify, re-theme his superb tables!

You can find the necessary rom file to start the table here (faeton.zip):

Hey ivan, great fun table. I have SSF and some of the voices are real loud out of the side rears, is there a way I can decrease the volume for those through the scripts, I assume its picking up music files at that point, but am not sure if they are embedded into the table as sounds? Any help would be great. Thanks for the table, it is fun.

Hello Blackvulcan3! Thanks for the feedback. In case of SSF it can help if you redirect certain sounds, especially music or some voices, to backglass. With the help of VPX sound manager. Click the file ---> "Toggle BG Out" button.

Awesome, thanks ivan. Really is a fun table, thanks for your work.

I've learned a lot today tinkering with the sounds which to be honest it's not something I've done before. As some of the sounds were considerably louder than other I tried sending to backglass but this was a bit of a hot mess. I adjusted the volumes on the following to -0.95, this level works great for me for these sounds

fx_hole_enter

fx_knocker

fx_popper

fx_sensor

fx_sensor5

fx_sensor6

I also adjusted intro.wav to -0.85 and fx_coin tp -0.53.

I found these levels really balanced out the table, but I cant get a few things right. Primitive1/Wall11 are the bumper just higher than centre of the playfield. This is either too loud or has too much bass (or both) and distorts badly through the table. I also cannot find Eddies laugh file or the Cocaine and Coffee file, which for the life of me I cannot find and I have been through every sound file in Sound Manager.

If you would be so kind as to point me in the right direction with these last 3 items sounds location I would really appreciate it. I am really enjoying this table and it is very playable. Thank you, Jason.

Greetings Blackvulcan3! Thanks for the feedback. In fact, I'm only in desktop mode, so what I feel optimal on my stereo amplifier may not sound like it through an SSF system anymore. So, Eddie's laugh is associated with the fx_drain file. "Cocaine and Coffee" (fx_ballrel). I hope I helped.

Awesome, thanks ivan, I had missed both as they had little lead ins with other sounds first. I have amended for my cab and it sounds great. I need to workout why the credits are cleared each time I play, but I have a feeling this may be ROM file related. Thanks so much for your patience and if any other cab players want to adjust the sounds, I am sure you advice has helped. Nearly 5 years in this hobby and Im still learning new things.
