Just a reminder that the link for toys, MX, flashers, etc from FX3 to DOFLinx will likely stop when Steam release the new Williams Pack #5 from Zen tomorrow (dependant on where you are in the world).

I should be able to get onto this from Wednesday (Oz time) after the release.

If you are unsure if a new FX3.EXE is the cause, you will see a message in your DOFLinx.LOG if you run DEBUG=1 or DEBUG=2.

OK, home now and onto it.  Just had a game of Cirqus Voltaire, got half way through No Good Gofers and the cabinet rebooted with a Windows update .... now waiting for that to finish.

TerryRed - the good news is that the new siren sound to warn of a new FX3.EXE that we have in beta worked!

So, enough for one night.  I've got all the base stuff up and working, so toys, MX, B2S for all previous games.  I started on the new 3, but just got side-tracked having a play with them - gosh I'm shit at playing pinball!  Why does the gap between the flippers in Cirqus Voltaire seem SO BIG.

Everything has gone fairly smoothly (so far).  Hopefully I can get this finished tomorrow night, otherwise its all the way to Sunday due to other commitments.

I really wish that FX3 will just support separating the mechanical table sounds so that they can be configured go to a separate 7.1 sound card in a future update.

DDH69 everything seems to work as it should with FX3 after update in my Cabinet except the B2S backglasses no longer show up?

Hee hee. So, a siren goes off when DOFLinx needs an update. Not a peaceful wind chime. Not a mild electric shock. Something in-between. Seriously though, thanks for working on it. DOFLinx is great!

I suspect this might change for you really soon.  Are you sure you haven't just seen the Steam update and the FX3 update is still to come  ;)   I can guarantee that DOFLinx cannot work with the new FX3 until its updated.

The idea of this is that you don't normally have a LOG running and DOFLinx is never seen in normal play.  So, when the link fails due to a new FX3.EXE causing a link to not be established, then make some noise!  (Its not too offensive ..... really)

And DONE!  Now into release mode   :nea:

I don't do those ones, TerryRed does and know he's not able to at present.  If / when they get done, then I'll include the appropriate FX3 files with the release.

Thank you so much for all of your work DDH69.  DofLinx 7.02 has me back in business.  Love having my addressable LEDs working with FX3 tables.

May your Kickbacks always be active
