Change Line "vpmNudge.TiltSwitch=-7  'swTilt" to "vpmNudge.TiltSwitch = swTilt"

Hi ! I have downloaded version 1.5 of this beautiful table (Black Jack (Bally 1976) _Bigus (MOD) 1.5) and as I usually do every time I install one, I do a "TEST MATCH" "UNTIL THE BACKGROUND" to verify its integrity and the Interesting of the game. For it, I block ball losses with "WALLS" that circumstantiallyI  mount on the lateral exits and the space between both flippers. After testing it until after the 999,999 points, I would like to say that as "FAIL", I find that except inserting coins, in no way tha table deliver "MATCHs" neither by score, nor by "SPECIAL" nor "EXTRA BALL" when it should ( I did not get to play it so many games as to affirm that neither "PAYS" by termination, but surely neither). In another order of things and in terms of the general structure and combinations of the original design of Bally, I do not understand how it does not deliver something "interesting" completing all the upper lines taking into account how difficult it is to complete the four with a single ball, since that reset with each loss of the same. Greetings

Hi Hugomag,

Have you checked the DIP switch settings? You may already know how to do this, but if not I suggest the following:

1. Open the Visual Pinball editor and look at the Preferences / Video Graphics Options menu. Make sure that the "Force exclusive Fullscreen Mode" option is not checked. (If you have it checked, then uncheck it for now so you can use your mouse to configure the DIP switches in the following steps. Then re-enable the exclusive fullscreen mode afterwards).

2. Press F5 to start the game play mode.

3. Press F6 to see the DIP switch menu.

4. You will see a "Match feature" check box in the top left. If this is checked you will be able to score a replay for a match after the game ends. This check box corresponds to the "Match feature" (switch 21) on page 6 of the user's manual from here: https://www.ipdb.org...Jack_Manual.pdf. I have tested and verified that I can score a match when this check box is enabled.

5. You will also see a "High score feature" where you can select among "No award" "Extra Ball" and "Replay" for beating the table's high score targets. This seems like it must correspond to the "High Score Feature" (switches 15 and 14) from the same page of the user's manual, but I have not verified this.

6. Once you have set the DIP switches to your liking, press F6 to exit the DIP switch menu. You can then set the high score targets that must be met for the award configured in step 5 above. See page 8 of the manual for a discussion of this. For me, I had to press the "7" key on my keyboard five times to correspond to the "Self-test" button mentioned in the manual. This appears to be the key that is configured as the "Cancel" service button in the editor's "Configure Keys, Nudge and DOF..." option in the Preferences menu. I then had to use the "1" key to configure the high score award targets.

7. When you have everything configured to your liking, quit the game and, if desired, re-enable the "Force exclusive Fullscreen Mode" and then try again to see if the game behaves as expected.

In regards to making all four rollover lanes at the top (spade, diamond, club, heart), the awards for that also appear to be configurable with DIP switches, as described on page 4A, Section D of the manual.

Note - one thing I've noticed about this table is that the left bumper cap in the visual pinball version of the game is a spade, but in the real game its a club. (See this picture: https://pinside.com/...hine/black-jack). This can be confusing when trying to understand the rollover awards described on page 4A, since the manual talks about the club thumper bumper.

Hi Hugomag,

I am replying to your latest message which you posted in the review area for this table. (i.e., It seems your questions are now split between this thread and the review thread. I suggest we should try to keep further questions and replies just in this thread.)

(For reference, I copied your question from the review thread and appended it to the end of this message, following the dotted line.)

I replied to your configuration question yesterday. Perhaps Bigus did as well, but I wasn't aware of a reply from him. I only mention this because he, or perhaps some others that are more knowledgeable than I am regarding these issues, may be better able to help. But since I replied yesterday, I'll try to offer another suggestion...

I don't know why you see the script error.I don't see it on my end. But I believe (but am not 100% certain) that the switch settings you are trying to configure are saved to the blackjck.NVRAM file in the VPinMAME/nvram subdirectory. If you tell me the settings you would like and send me a personal message on this site with your email address, I will try to configure those settings and then email you back the NVRAM file to try.

Beyond that, someone else may have to help with the script issue you are experiencing.

Thank you very much bigus 1 for your update. I also appreciate your answer regarding my configuration problem. In this regard I tell you that pressing F6 when selecting the options of my preference and finally F3, when closing the window gives me the following script error:

I appreciate your help and I apologize for the "basics" regarding my knowledge of VP (and programming), since I am new to this and I am slowly learning (and getting fanaticized). I send you a big hug
