File Name: Cue Ball Wizard (Gottlieb 1992)

File Submitter: bigus1

File Submitted: 06 Jul 2019

File Category: VPX/VPinMAME Recreations

Author(s): Bigus1, JPSalas, Rascal
Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Year: 1992
Permission to MOD?: Unspecified

This is my favorite table from JPSalas with vpx conversion by Rascal.
I bought this table new and had it for 10 years. Must have racked-up 10 000 hours on this beauty.
5.0 has physics, layout and lighting tweaks for 10.8
Enjoy :)

Man this table is a lot of fun!  Great Mod!  Question for everyone, during multi ball, this table lags terribly for me.  This may sound like a bone headed question, but my hdd is down to 16 gigs, would this cause some stutter?  It is an SSD.

Win 10? DISABLE Security / Live Scan.

That solved the most Issues for me, like this.

Yup.  Thats whats odd.  When I disable it, that usually stops all problems, but this table gives me issues on multiball.  Is there a thread somewhere on what in detail needs to be shut off on windows 10?  I believe I have everything, but its always nice to quadruple check.

Make sure your vsync and frames ahead are set to 1 in your video options.

Turn on lowpc settings and see if you get better.  Scale back from there.  If you still see stuttering even on lowpc settings...you may need to sprinkle some more cores onto your board.

Hey Bigus,

thank you very much for this refreshed version of this nice Gottlieb late SS. One remark: the shooting target at the right bottom does not work. Solution is to click on the top control point of the wall triangle and to activate slingshot.

Greetings, Christian.
