One small problem. The high score on the backglass doesn't work. I've tried some small changes to the script, which looks OK from my limited perspective, but so far I haven't found a solution. Has anyone got any ideas?

En mode bureau, le high score reste par contre affiché correctement, mais pas sur le back glass arrière effectivement

solution:

prendre le db2s de jungle king et le renommer en jungle life et remplacer celui qui ne va pas et là tout est ok !

(les tables sont quasi identiques)

He said, according to google :

take the jungle king db2s and rename it to jungle life and replace the one that is wrong and there everything is ok!

(the tables are almost identical)

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Better yet, I opened Jungle King in the D2S backglass Editor and imported the Jungle Life image and saved and created a new backglass. Then I changed the name. Works like a treat now. Thanks for the push, Thalamus.

Cheers,

Nursie

@ cestmoi, Forgive me for not knowing much beyond schoolboy French. But we are fortunate to have Google Translate. So to answer your question:

First back up the current Jungle Life and Jungle King backglasses in your VPX tables folder.

Download and install B2S backglass designer. https://www.vpforums...s&showfile=7549

Select File \ Import DirectB2S backgkass file. Import the Jungle Life backglass. The select Export \  Export Illuminated Backglass Image from the toolbar. Save and close the project.

Select File \ Import DirectB2S backgkass file. Import the Jungle King backglass. Select Image \ Import Image \ Import Backglass image. Select the exported Jungle Life Image which you should find in the project subfolder within the program folder. Say yes to the prompts.

Save the project.

From the toolbar select Backglass \ Create direct B2S backglass file.

Go to the Jungle King project subfolder. Located the backglass file and remane it to Jungle Life.

Copy it to your VPX tables folder and replace the current backglass.

That should do it.

(Words of encouragement) If you are not successful the first time, play around with the backglass designer program and use the help screens. That's all I did. I'm no expert but I have a basic working knowledge of the progam and can navigate my way around it. That's all a novice needs to know.

Cheers

Nursie

@Nursie, I followed your steps but was hit with several error messages related to matching reels and LEDs.  Needless to say the resulting B2S was messed up.  Is it possible for you to post your fixed B2S file?  Otherwise I'm fine for now in that I can still play and enjoy the table with the old/original B2S.

I'll take a look to see what is wrong and post an official fix. I'd prefer not to have alternate versions released and then floating around out there creating confusion as to what the right one to use is. Give me a day or so and you should see an updated table/backglass ZIP posted.

Thanks for that LM. Now I'm going to either be pedantic or a fool, but when in FS, there is no credit reel. IN DT mode, I could drag it into the DT backdrop, but full screeners might benefit from a credit reel on the BG. However, looking at an original BG image, I can see that adding a credit real would break with the authenticity. Interesting conundrum.

Cheers,

Nursie

Italian Add-A-Ball machines did not allow you to display or indicate that credits were available.  One of the many rules they had regarding pinball.
