I ordered a Pinscape Expansion Board from them on Dec. 14th. I still haven't gotten it. I messaged him saying it hadn't arrived and got a message saying he'd look into it, but I haven't heard back since. Just curious if I've royally screwed up by ordering from them. I messaged him again today for a last chance, but if you guys tell me I'm dumb for ordering from him, I'll start a PayPal dispute.

I believe there is at least one other thread here discussing his poor communication and delivery times and numerous other threads over on pinside about it. I wouldn't call you a dummy though... with UncleSash shutting down there aren't too many ways to get fully populated Pinscape boards... I've read the better part of all the threads and I am left with the feeling that he isn't a thief, just a poor communicator who appears terribly unorganized or unmotivated to deliver in any sort of a reasonable time frame. With that said... if I had skin in the game I'd wait until the end of my PayPal dispute window and file a couple of days before the end.

Do you know the guy? If so, I'd really love some help getting in touch with him. All I'm asking for is a tracking number. He should have zero issue with getting it to me if he isn't scamming me.

And why didn’t you then contact me???

You are waiting for your order to arrive for almost 4 month and your first sign of life is in a public forum?
If people didn’t inform me about this thread i would for sure still not know you are missing your order.

I will send you a mail.

Kind regards,
Dominik

So DHL's idea of detailed tracking history looks like this...    WHAT DOES THIS MEAN AND WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG!

Tu, 12.02.2019 11:28 -- The instruction data for this shipment have been provided by the sender to DHL electronically

To be honest it really has been my fault to not inform US customers that there MIGHT be a delay in there orders due to these special circumstances.

Blame it on politics ;)

Rappelbox, and his corresponding site, has been banned for shady business practices.

Not only has there been complaint after complaint about not getting their merchandise, but he's been contacting people who purchase a PinDMD v3 via our PM system and trying to talk people into returning it, before they even get it, and buying his wares.

If people ever even get it ...

Note - I know this may seem unsightly coming from me, as admin and owner of VirtuaPin, but this is not about competition.

Also note - Regarding the filtering of Pin 2 DMD ... Everyone KNOWS they should have called their DMD something else, AND they should have started from scratch, instead of using russdx's existing code. Hell, the maker of Pin 2 DMD was even caught RED-HANDED pirating PinDMD v2's!

Further noting - In an effort to be more transparent, I am fully announcing all banned members and why. Tired of being the 'bad guy' in the community I've dedicated 12 years of my life to develop.

Thank you.

Use whatever excuse you want to get rid of your competitors in this forum, but face it, without the development and contribution to the pinmame code you would still run your pindmd3 in random colors of the rainbow mode only.

Yeah, because that's the hard part to figure out, right? Not the actual development of a new product.

That's neither here nor there. I'm finding now that I'm late to the party, and he's been banned from multiple, major pinball sites and groups.

Nice try, though, making me look like the ass. Nice try, indeed. Lol

You know, I also think it's important to note how there's absolutely no denial in ripping code from russdx. What I'm reading is good, ol' fashioned, justification.

Thanks for that clarification.
