Didn't know where this would actually fall under, so if it needs to be moved to a different location in here, please do so. I am in the final stages of getting my cabinet finalized... maybe... who am I kidding it will be an on going process,   I need help with the directb2s files for pinball FX2 and 3. I wasn't sure if those files needed to be named the same as the table name just like in VP??? I know if you have backglass images they have to be named the same as the game, I wasn't sure about these files as well. I have looked multiple places and nothing says anything about how to name them like it does for the images. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be a great help. I already have the appropriate file structure set up inside doflinx folder and edited the ini file for this as well. Just need to know about the naming scheme.  :hmm:

Its really simple, leave the name exactly as it is when you download it.  No renaming necessary.  The name for the directB2S file is the same as the FX2 / FX3 file.

Originally the names were the game window name (FX2) with special characters removed.  In FX3 they just became arbitrary.

FYI - there are forums for DOFLinx on this site if you have any other DOFLinx specific questions.  Everything about adding force feedback and backglasses to FX2 / FX3 is DOFLinx based.

Ok, thanks. I wasn't sure if the name needed to be the same as what is in the ini file in colour section or the actual name of the pxp file. Again I was curious cause for instance the file for "Blade", I downloaded and extracted and the name is "BLade.directb2s"??? I didn't know if things like this where the "L" has to be capitalized or if it would need to be changed? Thanks again for the help and direction with all of this. Hate to sound like I'm  :BDH:  just want to cut down on going back and forth so many times with getting things set up correctly. I'll keep that in mind about future posts.

That "L" was a typo from me way back.  Fortunately WinDOWs is not case sensitive for file names,

That's what I figured, but was just making sure. Thanks again.
