I've been out of the VP newest table loop for a while as I got busy with artwork and finishing other projects. Anyway, with the new Pinball FX3 Williams tables and newer VPX I'm looking to get back into actually playing my cab! However I found my GFX card is just not up to scratch anymore. Gave up on VPX when the first tables came out as they didn't play well on my rig and just installed PinballFX3 but have major stutter on any of the williams tables - older non williams are ok. Currently have a GTX 750. (i5, 8GB RAM, 240GB SSD, Win7)
So I'm looking at upgrading to a Gigabyte GTX 1060 3GB or 6GB Mini ITX model (to fit in my case).
Is there any real gain in going for a 6GB RAM over the 3GB version for VP or pinballFX3? I'm running at 1080p for the playfield and will not be upgrading to 4k. I run 3 screens off of the card.
Thanks in advance.
