Hot Ball is a "Taito version" of Eight Ball (Bally 1977)
 
As it is an SS rare table, there is no ROM available so this table is a mod of JP's Eight Ball (Bally 1978) and uses Bally ROM.
 
About apron, two versions are included: one in Portuguese for full match with original table, and a second one in English.

It looks very beautiful, what differences are there between this table and Bally's?

Thank you Don't really know how to place this. It isn't a Taito rom, but, it is a Taito playfield. Guess I need to make a new category in my collection. I'll name it ... something in between

thanks editoy for this excellent table,

I had a problem to make this table work, the rom of eigh ball of BALLY gave me error, I downloaded the rom eigh ball (old) and with this rom works very well

i'll try to answer all of you:

 

differences: basically you are playng with a JP table, so this thanks are for him too

i modified only graphic: playfield, plastiscs and bumpers

pf has some writing adjustement, and a little different dimension and bigger black stroke

colors are different too  

Backglass is a redraw of bally's bg made from taito to have all counters on the left 

they had to add someting instead of counters 3 and 4, so you see space invaders coinop cabs and to match them a 70s jukebox on the left

(jukeboxes and coinop cabs are other my two hobbyes)

 

 

categories: hope tables? i mean hope to have soon or later the original rom

problems

i forgot to add in download page that the table uses an alternate rom (eightblo ) insted of the one in eight ball (eightbll)

to keep different high score with two tables (good idea from jp)

verify in you rom folder if you have eightblo rom and i f missing download it

if this still doesn't work try to edit script and restore rom name from eightblo to eightbll

i'm registred on MBPC, but my nik there is editoy, and i never uploaded nothing there yet
