File Name: Batman '66

File Submitter: luvthecubs

File Submitted: 19 Aug 2018

File Category: VPX Originals

Author(s): luvthecubs
JP Salas
Onevox
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

This is my first attempt at a VPX (or any other) table. This is a re-themed version of JP Salas' and Onevox's Williams The Flash (1979). This is definitely not to be confused with the Stern version. Thanks to JP and Onevox for giving me a great machine to mod and learn from. The DirectB2S is included in the zip.

The table requires the flash_l1 ROM available HERE.

Looks nice, good job!

Why use the same name as an existing table though?

It was either that or just Batman, which is also an existing machine. Felt it was the best way to convey it was based on the old show.

The table is excellent, now I wonder if "Ghost" did not get angry because his table was stolen!

I found a nice higher resolution version of that logo from a comic cover, I'm gonna edit it a little and upload it to the Wheel Logo section.

Edit: Can't take a screenshot right now so I'll upload the logo to my mediafire and post it in the wheel logo section when I get a chance.

In a YouTube video of some gameplay of this table (), there is some animation down in the apron area of the table.  I have never seen that when I've played this table, is that an option or add-on that needs to be turned on?  I know the video is for the PUP-Pack version, but I've got that installed and working, and I even went thru all of the PUP-Pack video content and it's not part of that.  Thanks, Eric

Ah, so it's part of Pinup Popper.  I haven't tried that yet, have been using PinballX as my front end.  One more thing to add to the list of things to try.  Thanks!

Well done. Is that a "flash" table for the foundation?

Great table.  I typically run tables on my cabinet in Free Play mode, but can't seem to figure out how to get into the adjustments on this table.  Any suggestions?

Here is the manual for setting the game up

https://www.ipdb.org...rs_Handbook.pdf

but i dont think it has a free play mode
I do not see one listed
A table can only be free play if it is an original table, or if the ROM supports a free play mode

Wait, i lied
Set max credits to 0
it will put the rom in freeplay

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways
