Hey !

A new version of PinballArcade now support 2 or 3 screens pincab with the Cabinet Mode from Arcooda.

We can even get 3D live view (just like BAM) if we have a Kinect v2 ... which is just AWESOME on my Mini-Pincab !

I successfully configured DOFLinx to get Flipper Feedback on solenoids by monitoring Pinball Arcade process.

Is there a project to "Memory Map" Pinball Arcade the way PinballFX has been mapped ?

I would be pleased to help to do so but I'm no programmer myself and I absolutely don't know where to begin !

Thanks

No there is not any documentation for this.  Its a real PITA.  I have a tool that I use to use monitor different areas of memory and when the address is found save to a skeleton FX2 file.  I should probably learn how to use some of the other shared tools out there better for discovering game memory locations, undoubtedly they are better than my customised FX2 tool.  Ideally you use well known shared tools to get close to the addresses, then my customised FX2 tool to fine tune.

Happy to share the tool and list of tables that need work if you want to play around.  I have a number in dev / test at present.  I also plan to buy all tables shortly.

Once the memory addresses are known you can edit the commands to anything you like, essentially script the action from the trigger.  Its just the triggers that are the pain.

Do you think it can be done with Microsoft Process Monitor v3.50 ? (short How-to)

DOFLinx is designed to be able to be triggered by any process and give you basic flipper feedback by monitoring keyboard input.  The real trick is how to get triggers for other events from a game that doesn't deliver them to you.  As per my comments above, its a huge job. So, in short, no I don't think this is viable.

Thanks for your honest answer ...

As I already said, I managed to get DOFLinx works for flipper via keyboard inputs when PinballArcade process si running but I 'd really like to get more feed backs.

I am willing to do the hard work myself ... what I need is some tips on where to look.
Can you share your method for PX2/3 so I may be able to port it to PBA ?

Hey mate, can you share how you implemented flipper feedback in Pinball Arcade?

I enjoy playing the tables and something is better than nothing...   too bad the software lost it's following.
