This is a very appreciated surprise indeed. I can't tell why, but Meteor is one table I've come back to time and time again. I've tweaked and tweaked on the release that exists out there, but, I've never been able to get to a result that seems correct to me. Right after downloading, I can promise I'll be trying this one out. Kind of weird to have such a love for a table that is so noisy. But, fortunately we now have the alternative rom without the background sound if we like to. Thanks to the devs for including those odd patches just recently !

Thank you so much for making this table JP and of course a big thank you to our Brazilian friends Carlos / Tio for their great contributions.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Hmm. I mixed the Stern and the Taito version when I talked about the roms above. But, hey, this Taito sounds better than the Stern one. I wouldn't say that Taito' normally beats their US counter part, but, this time I do think so :)

Update: I love how it plays too ... !

Thank you for another fine table.

What controls the second letter "E" in the METEOR drop targets? It always drops before launching a ball & sometimes pops back up. I tried to watch what controls this but so far have no idea. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm not that familiar with the rules so I don't know if this messes something else up on the table but removing this line seems to fix this issue:

SolCallback(14) = "dtbank5.SolHit 1,"

In fact, I removed all six of those SolCallBacks (11-16) and that bank still seems to work correctly.

The solenoids are there for a reason, and they are documented in the PDF from the IPD

I looked at the PDF, however I don't know what any of it means.

Are you saying the lettewr "E" in METEOR supposed to drop by itself & pop up later on?

Yes, that's the ROM doing it. It may be an "easy" setting which is there as default, and maybe can be changed using DIP switches, but I don't know anything about that. Maybe later any of our friends from Brasil maybe can tell us how to setup differently the table by using the DIP switches.

Anyway, I have uploaded a new version of the table, this time only cosmetic changes, with a new apron that Carlos sent me :)

1.1.0 Updated 18.03.2018
- New apron thanks to Carlos.
- Animated the backdrop lights, just like the real table.

Hello, at game start the table shows 2000 points already registered in score display before ball one is plunged, is that supposed to happen? Using 10.4 Final Vpm 3.0 Thank You JP for table, your time and work is very much appreciated.

I guess you didn't read the post in which I explain that all the Taito tables resume the game were they left. So if you play one ball and quit the table, next time you run the table you'll continue the same game.

He's talking about the same thing Brer Frog was with the E dropping.  Every time a ball is released, it drops the target and awards 2000 pts.

I see :). Well that's how the default settings of the rom works :)

Hello JP, yes I have read your post about Taito tables and did not quit early from game. What DarthMarino described above is what is happening. I tried checking YouTube for gameplay videos of taito meteor but could only find them for Stern's version which is a little different. Maybe someone here has experience with taito version and can chime in.

Hola Juan Pablo, soy un fan de tus tablas y también de Stern Meteor, ya que la he jugado mucho de niño. Es posible combinar tu mesa Taito con alguna Stern Rom? Son compatibles?  Gracias, saludos...
