When you open the script, the line numbers appear on the left.  You should see "FF_init" on that line.  You can search the script for "FF_init" and see if it is defined.

Please make sure you have the DOFLinx.vbs file copied to your "Future Pinball/scripts" folder.
If you don't you will get a "Pinball Meditation Error" about  FF_Init, and the table cannot play!

If you are not using DOFLinx, this table can still operate normally, provided you have the DOFLinx.vbs file installed.

I have DOF & DOFLinx with 10 solenoids working with FX3 and VPX, but with Future/BAM using FPLoader.exe I get FF_Init error when loading a Terry Red DOFLinx table - any of them.

DOFLinx.vbs is copied into my C:/Games/Future Pinball/Scripts folder.  I've also tried combinations with and without admin - same result.

Something to do with anti virus
need to put in exceptions and that may not work, You may have to turn off your antivirus software
In the last couple weeks there have been 3 or 4 posts on this website about this so maybe you can find more information there

I just removed this FF_Ini error by shutting the virus scanner off. After that, I turned it back on and tried removing virus scan from a relevent files and directories - nothing worked to remove it -  the error still happened. I can only get rid of it by shutting MS virus scanner off. So for now I'm shutting it off when running Future/BAM, but turning it back on for VPX & FX3, which don't have the error.

I also ran the MS virus scanner on the entire disk - it didn't identify any problem files - none. But running FPLoader with MS virus scanner turned on still has the FF_Init error.

Just have to add the proper exceptions

from admin powershell window, paste this

AFTER you edit it for your own paths

Add-MpPreference -ExclusionPath "c:\emulation\VPX\Scripts\*.vbs"
Add-MpPreference -ExclusionProcess "c:\emulation\VPX\VPinballX.exe"
Add-MpPreference -ExclusionPath "c:\emulation\VPX\Tables\*.vbs"
Add-MpPreference -ExclusionProcess "c:\emulation\FP\Future Pinball.exe"
Add-MpPreference -ExclusionPath "c:\emulation\FP\Scripts\*.vbs"
