Hi guys.

Time to start Getaway High Speed II [WIP] topic.

What can i say, 32assassin sent me stripped table and i've started on everything at once, so here is the actual progress:

getaway_wip_05.jpg

Like you see, there is a lot of work left, i can't do it by myself since i have no 3d skills at all.

There is few more plastics to redraw and little more work with playfield but the most important is Supercharger ramp and diverter ramp.

Supercharger and lights post primitives are stolen from FP table :)

Idk when i finish this one, maybe never but more likely not soon.

Stay tuned.

One day i'll build Vitalik statue out of used AMD gpu's.

Thanks guys, i'm glad you like it but i don't belive you, it looks like shit, you have to admit :D

Table is fully playable but there is a lot of work with supercharger ramps and diverters. Plastics almost finished.

Damn primitives, 32assassin was right about it and i was aware but now i understand :D

One day i'll build Vitalik statue out of used AMD gpu's.

I figured out ramp diverter with primitive. Now i need supercharger diverter primitive and help with code for that diverter.

Actual code is like:

SolCallback(10) = "vpmSolDiverter Diverter,""MetalHit"",Not"

And that's it, but i want this in subroutine, how to deal with it? I want to get rid of diverter and use primitive and walls. How this sub should look?

That's referring to a sub in core.vbs

' ------ Diverters ------
Sub vpmSolDiverter(aDiv, aSound, aEnabled)
    If aEnabled Then aDiv.RotateToEnd : Else aDiv.RotateToStart
    vpmPlaySound aEnabled, aSound
End sub

SolCallBacks will execute a string as script, and then send True or False (or 0-255 for solmodcallback). So in that case there's multiple arguments in string form, and the goofy trailing 'not' on the end is inverting the solenoid callback so that the sub rotates the flipper the right way.

You need to specify your own sub like Solcallback(10)  = "Supercharger"

As an example:

Sub Supercharger(enabled)

If enabled Then

Diverter.isdropped = 0 <WALL

Diverter_Prim.objrotz = 0 < PRIMITIVE

else

Diverter.isdropped = 1 <WALL

Diverter_Prim.objrotz = -30 < PRIMITIVE

End If

End Sub

Also as a side note - the getaway 2 has two solenoids for the supercharger diverter (Solenoid 1 and Solenoid 10)

On the real game solenoid 1 is the high power solenoid which pulls in the diverter and then solenoid 10 holds it (low power)

In VP you only need to use Solenoid 10 but I thought I'd mention this if you come across references to solenoid 1 in the manual.
