As of today, they added the second monitor support so you can get a functional backglass.

Now if they can just let a rotation be set so I won't have to rotate all those landscape tables when I build my own rig. :P

VP alone is worth that build :-)

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Nice. I must add it to pinballx, I've been very slack. I still haven't written and added the launch scripts and rotate screen ahhk to do it

VP alone is worth that build :-)

My plan was just starting with VP. I've gotten Pro Pinball working in PinballX, and now it's pretty much guaranteed I'm going to see if I can get Zaccaria running that way as well. And, of course, with all that, it's likely I'm going to ask for the code for Pinball FX to go with all that.

can you launch an individual table, bypassing the interface.  I want to setup in pinballx, but I thought you could not launch an individual table

Yes, there is a workaround to launch tables individually:

I've been fiddling with the workaround. Got it loading the tables just fine, but there's issues with *quitting*. I think some UI change is preventing it from quitting Zaccaria, and instead the script winds up quitting PinballX.

EDIT: Never mind, I had to configure PinballX to monitor ZaccariaPinball.exe so that it didn't jump to the front UNTIL the script had finished shutting it down.

I've done some voice acting for some of their tables. :D

Love the latest update. Physics seem improved. Cab support is super easy to enable: Single click puts backglass on second monitor. No configuring. Backglasses are disappointingly low-res at the moment, but I trust they'll address this.

The Zacc Steam app is light years beyond TPA in terms of realism. Amazing lighting engine.

I just tried it out and hopefully they can make the backglass high res. Currently old school 4:3 aspect ratio. I'll take that for now :dblthumb:

Now, if we can talk Freezy in adding their new 2016/2017 tables into dmdext, well that would be stellar!

Flipper physics really improved. I was doing catch balls last night pretty easily. All in all, a really solid program.

Already owned the Gold pack and I just upgraded to the Platinum for $19.91 which unlocked the new tables and achievement tables.

jferio,

Do you have a working AHK script for adding to PBX. I don't have enough understanding of what to break out of Carney's script over at PBX. I know ZERO AHK. I've programmed only in FORTRAN and COBOL (I'm old - LOL)

Thanks,

Harry

And they've dropped the latest reimagined table... Farfalla. Lower playfield instead of upper, and the usual added ramps and DMD.

Also, a "retro" version of Time Machine.... basically a really simple EM version of the table.

They have tons of options and a one click cab support, but did they really not include an option for playfield screen rotation?

Pro Pinball's Timeshock has it, and it makes it super easy, no need for a script etc.

As I recall, it's one of the few weaknesses of their implementation. Between them and Pinball FX2 (which I believe has a similar lacking feature), it's just easier to rotate all the VPX tables. I think it's actually an artifact of how easy it is now to rotate the screen in software, there's no perceived "need" to implement a rotation to landscape when it's done at the video card/OS level, particularly since the most common software setup that has the other method for that isn't really a licensed option. Unfortunately, that means Pro Pinball is technically the outlier here.

It's only really most painful when one's doing an initial setup of a pincab with VP on it. Slightly less so with VPX because of the "live fix" feature where you can use the flipper and magnasave buttons to make the adjustments. VP9 is a little more trouble. I've done the former, kind of waiting a bit on the latter until I've got a better indication what tables are going to be updated/redone.

The "live fix" feature is also available for vp9 as a separate tool here

Feel free to lobby for DmdDevice.dll support here: http://steamcommunit...22595305415747/

One of the admins, Chewable C++, is going to contact one of the devs. Saw it posted over at Steam. I think they have been pretty swamped lately.

Zaccaria Pinball is running with 2-3 employees. So them getting swamped is understandable.
