MAME roms in PinballX

I try to play MAME roms from PinballX. Unfortunelly I cant. When I choose the game in PBX I see loading screen and nothing happen. Anybody has that problem too?

The path in Pinballx for the Mame systems could be incorrect. double check the path in the settings. 

Also try to launch them manually with Your mame program in the folder and see it it works from there.

set your Mame.exe to run as administrator

Same issue here. MAME itself runs but PBX wont launch through PBX. Hangs on loading.


My VP Pincab /MAME Arcade  Specs: Dell T3400 workstation with Core2 Quad core 3.0GHZ (Q9650) CPU - 8GB of RAM - Nvidia  GTX 970

Guess I am looking for how to direct PBX to MAME. I dont see any reference to ROM in the "other" section in setup.

Wrd1972 think of mame same as vpinmame and set your paths in the mame ini file. I use mamelayplus for it's great bezel support for a pincab they are perfect! Anyways simple edit your mame.ini and set paths in that here are some examples from my cab
